Pat Galloway and Brad Hendrickson have pushed Plus for the last ten years, so in return Plus is bestowing them with their own ‘Bro Models’.

With the seemingly never-ending winter finally coming to a close, it only seemed appropriate that we send some love to Vans’ most celebrated shoe: the Half-Cab. Vans has always prided themselves on adhering to the needs and suggestions of skateboarders, just as they did in ’92 when Steve Caballero noticed that many people were cutting his Vans Caballero High-Top down to half and skating them as a mid-top. Caballero made the suggestion to Vans to make a lower cut version of his pro shoe and call it the Half-Cab. Vans listened and a new silhouette was introduced, an era began as the most iconic shoe in skate history was born that is still selling as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Nothing like spring vibes with the dudes. Kendrick VanEe, Kevin Castanheira, and Geoff Alpizar were boarding at Hawk Island with Ty Modz, Casey Hague, Ben Ohman, and Rob Michel and cranked out this rad edit.

Damage Boardshop is celebrating their 8th anniversary by hosting their annual event “Damage Revisted” on Saturday, May 4th, at Mont Du Lac in Superior, Wisconsin. There’s nothing like a day of surfing with your buds on a warm day. Keep in mind to bring a waiver if you’re under 18, and $25 dollars of cash. Get there on time if you want to ride hardpack, as the event starts at 9 and ends at 4. Super fun days.

Kevin Castanheira, Tony Accuardi, Codias Sanders, and Alex Yost went to Seven Springs earlier this winter and got down with a Stormtrooper while ripping The Streets park. At an easy two minutes, you can watch this edit real quick.

Michigan has this rad new zone in Lansing called Hawk Island Snow Park; since it’s only their first season you probably haven’t seen a ton of content coming out, but keep an eye on them. Their hill is about one face of straight park features on a J-bar, they pump out of a renewing spring so they don’t pay for water, and they only pay half of their electric. Take all that into consideration with a few super dedicated park dudes and you have a resort that can afford to stay open later in the season. Mac Eckstrand and Nate Anderson got nasty the other day boarding there. Nothing like park laps with the dudes on a nice day.

A few months back we had the notion to send out a handful of pocket notebooks to a few visually expressive friends and simply told them to do their thing: doodle, make lists, buy groceries, get drunk and ramble; whatever. It’s an experiment to get into their brain and maybe learn something. Jake Durham kicked off his notebook on December 14th and traveled with it throughout the winter. World events, faceless skateboarders, mini-dv tapes, a travel log to Japan.
